Here’s a list of stuff you need, and where I bought it.

Hardware (items can be found either at your local hardware store or an online retailer such as McMaster-Carr)

• 1/4 ” stainless steel rod (aluminum would be fine), cut to two pieces 130 long
• 1/4 ” – 20 TPI threaded rod cut to 150 mm length.
• 1/4″ bolts (3) and jam nuts (2)
• Bolts: M3x15 (2), M3x25 (4), M3x10 (4)
• M3 nuts (12)
• Spring that will fit around M3 bolt

Additional items

• 5 V stepper motor (Adafruit)
• Arduino Uno
• Breadboard and wires
• L293D dual H-bridge
• Silicone tubing (1.9 mm OD, 1 mm ID)
• Quick setting epoxy
• 3 mL syringes
• 2X gauge syringe needles

Useful tools

• Hack saw (for cutting steel rod)
• M3 allen wrench
